At BOOMPODS, we prioritise sustainability by using PCR plastic for our product components, specifically opting for Recycled ABS (RABS) when possible. However, we go even further in our commitment to the environment by using ocean-bound plastic in some of our products, which prevents plastic waste from reaching the oceans and contributes to cleaner waterways. The use of ocean-bound plastic is part of our mission to create products that are not only high-performing but also environmentally responsible.

Smart trackers, such as those integrated with the Find My Apple network, often rely on plastic casings, and traditionally, this plastic would be sourced from virgin materials. By incorporating PCR or RABS plastic, we are helping to repurpose materials that would otherwise end up in landfills or oceans, reducing the overall environmental impact of these devices. Additionally, ocean-bound plastic is a key part of our sustainability strategy, as it helps tackle the growing issue of ocean pollution by utilising plastic waste that would otherwise pollute marine environments.

In the case of true wireless earbuds and portable speakers, these products are becoming a central part of daily life, and their production typically involves significant amounts of plastic. By using PCR plastic and ocean-bound plastic, we reduce the carbon footprint associated with manufacturing these devices. This is especially important in the tech industry, which is known for high levels of electronic waste.
